This advanced foam dressing is uniquely engineered with a 5-layer construction, offering superior exudate management while maintaining comfort and protection.

Key Features

• Flex Technology: The dressing stretches 360°, allowing it to conform to challenging body contours and stay securely in place. This reduces tension and enhances its ability to remain effective for up to 7 days, depending on the wound condition.

• Safetac® Technology: The soft silicone adhesive minimizes pain and trauma during dressing changes, protecting both the wound and surrounding skin.

Indications for Use

Mepilex® Border Flex is suitable for:

• Superficial wounds and burns
• Wounds with medium to high exudation

It can also be used on dry or necrotic wounds in combination with gels and may serve as a prophylactic measure to prevent skin damage.

Application Instructions

1. Prepare the Skin: Ensure the skin is clean and dry.
2. Apply the Dressing: Remove the release film and position with a 1–2 cm overlap around the wound.
3. Smooth the Borders: Apply without stretching the dressing.
4. Change as Needed: Replace if exudate leaks, the pad is 75% full, or if infection signs appear.

Precautions

• Avoid use if sensitive to components.
• Do not use with oxidizing agents.
• Follow comprehensive wound prevention protocols when used prophylactically.
