The GRIPPER PLUS™ POWER P.A.C. Safety Huber Needle by ICU Medical Inc. is a specialized medical device designed for secure and efficient vascular access. This system is particularly suited for accessing implantable venous ports, facilitating both the administration and withdrawal of fluids, as well as the power injection of contrast media when used with compatible ports.

Extension Set

The extension set measures 20 cm in length and is available with or without a luer-activated, needleless Y-site. The clear blue tubing differentiates it from non-power needles, and the color-coded clamps provide easy identification. The priming volume is 0.3 mL without the Y-site and 0.8 mL with it.

Power Injection Capability

This device supports power injection up to 5 mL/sec and withstands pressure up to 300 psi. It has been positively evaluated for Aseptic Non Touch Technique (ANTT®), contributing to effective infection control.
